Oh God, I feel ashamed.  It's been two years since my last purchase.  However, saving for my kids education and renovating the house come first.  If I can manage to tuck away 5 grand for the kids this year, maybe I'll treat myself. Maybe an Armalite in .308.

Yo MissleCop,
If youre LEO you can claim all firearm purchases, holsters, ammo, and all accessories on long form.  I allow myself 2k a year.   special I say.

6 weeks ago at the gun show.  A Swiss K31 in 7.5x55, first time I shot it was at the Hun Farm on Saturday.  Mojo, you were the second person to shoot it!

MissileCop,
If you can, you should really go for the AR-10(T).  I'm very biased toward mine [8D]!  I was pretty consistantly nailin' the 400 yard target at ETH's shoot-a-thon '02 last weekend [sniper].  It's good enough for competition, but you'll need to save up your cash, and get a really good and light, scope (my preference is Leopold) if that's what you wanna do.  I would rather defend myself with the .308 instead of the .223 anyways (sorry AR-15 guys! nothing personal), and for long distance shooting, the .308's not effected much by the wind especially compared to the .223.  BTW, I still think the AR-15 is a great rifle.

Mojo,
My last gun purchase was kinda weeney.  I got a Ruger .22 LR Mark II Gov't Target pistol [pistol].  It has a 6 and 5/8" "bull" barrell.  I got it at the last gun show the weekend before last at Market Hall in Dallas.  It's an excellent target pistol that is very accurate.  I mainly bought it for my wife, but I enjoy shooting it too.  Ammo was really gettin' expensive for my other large cal pistols, so for casual plinkin' it's pretty good and pretty cheap to shoot.  BTW, I saw your FAL when Jarhead was shooting it last weekend.  It's pretty bad ass, I wouldn't mind having one!

Wohoo!!!  [heavy]

For me, I'm so broke, its more like when was the last time I SOLD a firearm. Which would be 3 mos ago. I parted with the first AR I ever bought. Before that I parted with my SKS. Then 6mos. before that, I parted with my Glock 17.

All is not lost though, cause I have saved up $250 for a Bersa or a P32 for my concealed carry once I get my license. If it ever comes.

I bought a Bushmaster Shorty Carbine last Thursday. I've shot about 200 rounds through it so far and I want to go shooting This Friday if I. I post a picture tomorrow morning it getting late.
Later,
Gavino

The last gun I could afford I bought way back in march. I haven't even fired it yet in hopes that if I keep it NIB it's value will go up so I can sell it someday.
