My brother lives on the 11th floor of the building next door...
He says there is enough cops and EMS to take over a whole city. There has to be some odd story behind this one. Thoughts go out to the families.

Will try and keep everyone updated from local news and if my brother hears or sees anything on the street ect.
All he can see as of now is they did a floor by floor search of the building after they took injured away in a big hurry. Lots of police outside, inside, on roof. 5 choppers, 1 LEO the rest are news. Not looking for anyone else just cleared building to be safe from what he can see. Not sure he can get any info better than news but will keep in touch. ETA- Most of the ICE and other feds in the building work on the docks. I work on the port of LA / Long Beach and each terminal as 10-20 agents that check cargo, crew, and search the ships. There a a LOT of agents down there. Hope I didn't know any of those involved... Pretty laid back and cool set of guys. |

bump for update -
early report on scanner log referenced above indicate that first victim was Long Beach PD officer, but correction is to ICE agent as first victim. per FOX, surving victim was shot in the abdomen. I've still found nothing on the scanner, PD and Fire/EMS. |
