When I first moved here I lived in San Diego ... one February night after work I took my bride to the Vons grocery store in the Point Loma area. We ran into a BEAUTIFUL - I mean knock-dead-perfect - 20 year old buxom blonde girl wearing a bikini top and Daisy Duke shorts with flip-flops filling her basket with veggies. As a newlywed I was doing my best to not let my tongue drag on the floor, and my new bride was doing the same trying to not stare either. Since then the running joke is that it's "California and anything goes".
