Good lord I hope not!

I watch the coin shows they have just to laugh! They charge well over 50% RETAIL for usually junk coins. Even the nice stuff is overpriced.

Can you picture it? "Here we have a COLT 20 round mag. It's a bit beat up, but it was carried by a GI in Vietnam. These are scarce folks! With the 94 assault weapon ban, nobody is making these anymore. We have 200 in stock right now, and for $45 and $7.95 shipping and handling you can get a piece of American history too."

They would just drive prices UP.

I'd go for a "Gun Channel" that was similar to the History Channel or Food Network.

24/7 coverage of everything to do about guns.  A news roundup of  competitions or live reports from the BRC, Bulletfest or The Hun's Farm shoot would be great.  Every Saturday night they could feature a "gun enthusiast" film.  Sunday afternoon could be DIY gunsmithing and project shows (This Old AR?).

If such a channel were to air, I'd tune the TV to that station and throw away the remote.

I like the idea of being able to throw away the remote.
