I have a certified welding business and we cater to the aviation industry. We were called out to do a job at a local place that does a Top Gun type school for foreign pilots. This particular A4 was purchased from the Israeli Air Force. I asked to see any applicable repair data and manuals. Everything the had was in hebrew.

True, but considering they barely missed the Korean War,sunk modern warships at 30 years old, flew in Desert Storm and are still are in service, they're easily one of the most successful planes ever.

In my youth those were overhead night and day.  We lived under Final Approach every damn place we lived.

Cool plane and I appreciate them more now than I once did.  The one time I saw one close up at an airshow, in the late '80s, I didn't even realize what it was at first––a later(?) version, it had the humpback on it, which threw me for a loop.
