Figured out a cheap fix for the trigger slop on mosin nagant rifles. Head down to your local Home Depot and pick a box of 1/8" toggle bolts, cost $1.92. Take them apart using a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the springs. Next with the barrell removed slide the trigger pin about half way out and
slide the toggle springs onto the pin. Mine took three springs to make a nice smooth pull. Before sliding the pin back I found a small washer and slid the pin through the trigger then the washer then through the rifle bracket to get rid of the side to side slop. End result is amazing and for only two bucks! Hope this helps
I don't understand how you can put the springs on the pin. The pin goes
through the receiver and trigger, it's a simple pivot, once the pin is
in place there is no room for the springs.
