I called to check on the little boy who ran into the car yesterday.
He was reported to have been sent home today.
What a good ending to this story.
Thank God he was OK enough to send home!

That's good to hear.  I bet he will look both ways before running into the street next time.  I hope the parents have learned a very valuable lesson too.

It was one of those things that everyone learns from.
The 2 year-old kid ran out at just the right time when the car came over the crest of the hill and wham!
The older brother who was watching him went in because one of his sisters was crying.  Turns out there's 8 kids total.
One second there he is, next second, tragedy strikes.
The bigger brother said it was his fault and they'd be playing in the fenced section of the yard instead of the driveway from now on.
Whatta guilt trip.
I am so glad the little guy is alright.
