You all probably watched some type of event on TV or in person of someone performing an act or stunt where they said they were professionals and that you should not try what they are doing at home.
Okay..tell me this then..How did these "professionals" get to be so good at their skills? They must of had to risk failure and/or injury the first time they tried whatever they are now professional at. Correct?
I'm sure, no, I know, that many pro-skateboarders broke a bone or two. Those stunt motorcyclists didn't land on their wheels, but landed in the hospital instead. I'm sure none of us who shot a gun for the first time hit bulls-eye and I'm sure most of us fell when we hit the ski-slopes on our first time.
You have two options. You can either be afraid of failure and never try anything in your life OR you can risk injury/failure and possibly find something that you are good at and have fun with.

Yeah, it's just a disclaimer to avoid any lawsuits, just in case some idiot out there who never even rode a motorcycle before decides to try jumping 15 busses (sp?) or the Mississippi river or something.  It's just a CYA thing.

Yep, there are some really really stupid people in this world.  The scary thing is that the warnings you see on products, etc. are there because some dumbass has actually done it.

Like lighters:  Do not light near face or clothing. Hmmmmm, you think?

Hey AR15-gal........Nice turtle! :-)
