Go to speedguide.net and tweak it for max output. I'm on Cox, 3000 dwn, 256up. The speed test listed is not accurate, try some of the speakeasy test on speedguide.

DSL Reports, 2452 dwn/282 up, a little slower than normal but still fast.

cable IS the way to go..until FiberOptiks take over...
spend a day or three on cable, then go to a phone line... You'll be ticked off in no time! I've had cable for about 4 years now.. wouldn't go back to phone if ya paid me! (well, maybe I would if you paid me enough, but then I'd secretly get and use cable or dsl when no one was lookin') [:D] |
