That's a fair price. A gun store would give you $200 in trade so they could sell it for $300.

Given the situation I think it's fair. My new, 642 no lock was $350 out the door.

Looks like used 642's on GB have been selling at $275-300. Add $50 for the crimson trace grips.
If it's a stock gun $300 is fair. |

300 is on the positive side of fair... New go around 350-370ish locally.
225-250 is a "good" price locally. For family? 300 is a good price. |
