New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - The Board of Alderman in New Haven is considering a proposal to expand the controversial city ID card by allowing it to be used as a debit card. The controversial Elm City card got national attention in 2007, and will likely get a lot more. The timing is interesting considering just a few weeks ago Mayor DeStefano made a public announcement that undocumented residents who live in this city, should be able to vote here.
