My uninsured SO just negotiated a doctor bill for 1695.00 with a proposed payment of 91.81 per month down to a cash price today only of 847.50. We paid it all off with a credit card before they hung up.

That's terrific. Most hospitals and doctor's offices usually get no more than 40% (and in many cases less than that) from their insurance reimbursement contracts, so it's a win-win for everyone concerned.

Charges really have no relation to actual collections in the medical world.

Not so much good news as good times but my 3 yo daughter had my 2 1/2 month old son laughing hysterically last night. It was the first time he really laughed out loud. I just sat there with my family thinking to myself just how good my life really is these days. The best things in life really are free, I'll remember that moment for the rest of my life however long that happens to be.

PNC reversed a fee that appeared on my account due to someone righting me a bad check.

Successfully replaced the clutch in my car. Only injury was a scrape from the ring gear when the old flywheel dropped off. Impact wrench made it faster.

Only issue was forgetting to reconnect the speed sensor. That I was able to fix on the side of the road.
