I don't give a shit how good your traction is....you should be driving at speeds consistent with your traction...and the traction of everyone else around you. If the guy had been moving a bit slower, he would have avoided the accident....visibility was limited, and he should have been able to stop in time if he was going the right speed.
I've been in shitty weather conditions with the bulk of the traffic going 30mph on the Interstate (the safe speed for most cars due to the weather conditions), and watched people (Cars and Tractor Trailers) blow by at 70mph....when cars are slipping all over the road at 30mph in the right lane...eventually one is going to wind up in the left lane by accident....then there will be an accident.
