I had another bright idea to make a brownie cake with chocolate + marshmallows + Rice krispies and either Bacardi 151 or Bacardi Limon.  What would be the best way to get the rum into the cake in a non liquid form, kinda like those rum cakes from Bermuda or the Caymans Islands.

Thanks

Take a bite of Rice Krispie treat. Take a shot of rum. Repeat.

That's no fun.

I want the run into treat.  Like those islands rum cakes but with my type of rum instead.

151 will dissolve the sugar that binds the Rice Krispie treat together. Rum cakes work because the flour-based cake is a literal sponge, and absorbs the alcohol into the pores.

This.
I remember from when I was 8 or so, a lady came to a party with two rum cakes. She said, "This one has a hint. That one drips."

Why would anyone intentionally put rum into anything?

In theory you should be able to substitute any water for the rum.

FYI, alcohol will not form gluten like water does when mixed with flour. This can be a good thing or a bad thing.

It removes coed panties when you put rum into the coeds.
