I gotta start putting price tags on some stuff
Right Fucking Now.
Do you have mags? Oh, just a few left? $35 does seem like a steal, I'll take them. |
I guess you didn't get the memo about 12/23.
Record number of NICS checks. Four more years of the halfrican = two more liberal gun-hating dykes on the Supreme Court. |
I'm afraid that the Colonel is correct.
POTUS is a 4, possibly 8 year gig. The judges on the US Supreme Court can and do sit for decades. |
Now, buy more mags. In 04 I got 200 AR mags and will get going again.
I have just about enough mags. It's boolits I needs!

I bought an SKS last weekend...does that count? Cosmoline is a bitch.

Well, you have to remember the general idiots, I mean public, has no clue about Romney's anti-Second voting record since they don't pay attention to things not spoon fed to them through the mass media.
So, I would say we've probably got until Obama wins re-election in November. Could be a slight escalation early fall late summer, but all out madness will not start until November. |

I think those are some pretty good observations. I'm curious to see how much if any 2012 TEOTWAWKI madness ensues. |

Without congress, the Kenyan can ban imports, so get your AK mags and parts kits, for sure.
Mittens can do the same, of course. |
I don't see Congress passing any anti-gun legislation even if Obummer wins a second term....at least until the second half of his term. Congress has a GOP majority and will have until 2014....and that's assuming the Dummycraps win back the majority.
What the Halfrican does by Executive Order....that's the wild card. |
I did all my "panic buying" in 2005 when "gungrabber" alberto gonzalez was appointed AG.
Is everyone that far behind me? |
I would say I did real well last time around. I will do real well this time also.
It'll start when the Republicans have a nominee... the masses will compare him to Obama, and see that they are in trouble either way.

I don't panic buy but I have goals to reach.
I only have a few things left on my list now and I am done pretty much with my collection except for reloading component replenishment. BCM Parts (Firing Pin, Cam Pin, retaining pin, etc) MIAD Vltor ModStock BCM BOLT * 2 (if they EVER come in) BLUE FORCE GEAR VCAS * 2 Pmag's * 1 (need to round off at 60) STAG LPK * 3 BCM BUFFER TUBE KIT * 2 12K Montana Gold 115gr FMJ 9mm bullets (next year most likely) |
Jeez, do I have to panic buy AGAIN?
I still have lowers, mags, links and belts in the packages from LAST time. |
My New Year's resolution:
One case of ammo a month until November. |

I hope to have everything I'll want for a while by summer. People aren't going to wait and risk it until election night to go panic buying like in 2008, I think around early fall shit's going to go full retard.

Quoted: Quoted: My New Year's resolution: One case of ammo a month until November. Expensive resolution. Yeah, I really need to start reloading, I just don't have the time. I figure my 2012 purchases will get me and the family set through all of 2012 and 2013 until ammo prices return to normal. |

I was thinking of trying it as well but I need to work on mags for my AR, Glock, and AK. |
Not sure if it's related, but ammo component costs have gone way up for retail. Nearly every time I log into midway and check my "wishlist" prices are a little higher. Stock seems to move quickly since most of the reloading stuff is in and out of stock constantly.

Getting my nfa paperwork in asap, and buying a MK18 upper is the plan in the near future. Then as funds allow through next year I'll be buying mags, ammo, and reloading components.
Hopefully it won't get as crazy as last time, but I figure I may as well plan for the worst. |
Hopefully after I make my next big purchase. Now if I could get my damn tax return
I would bet a shiny new Pmag that we would see MORE anti-gun legislation with a weak RINO like Romney, who would be willing to sell the 2nd to buy political capitol for other initiatives, than 4 more years of Obama, who will not spend political capitol on the 2nd when the rest of the liberal agenda needs it.
It's the Justices I'm worried about. |
I'm not panic buying
But I will be buying ammo and magazines every month And new weapons as funds allow so really, its all the same here |

I don't see any "stamped" items in there. I panic bought a new SBR today. I was scared shitless that my wife was gonna find out that I had $1200 she didn't know about. That shit had to go. |

Seriously?? We had this same fucking thread going two days ago!

So, our choices are going to be a usurper who has helped arm terrorists in a foreign country with the intention of subverting the US Constitution and someone who has already signed an ban against "weapons of unusual lethality".???
