NO ,I do not remember.But Im sure there was a thread not 6months ago concerning another member with the same question,naming a pup and there were around 30% replys to reads ratio.With ALOT of great suggestions.

If you have the sense of humor to pull it off, I'd suggest "kitty". If he's going to be a "serious" assault doggie, I'd suggest something monosyllabic that can be spoken really fast, like "Hans" or "Fritz". This could be helpful during training too. ==Bob

Yes, an easy call name is a blessing when you need the dog to react quickly.
Our German Rotts are Dresden von Schnellfeuer, (Dresden of Fast Fire, call name Drezz), Kruppstahl Schattenjaeger, (Krupp Steel Shadowhunter,call name Krupp), Mauser Tanzenbaer,(Mauser Dancing Bear, call name Maus), and Fraulein Luger,(Luger). The registration names have to be rather complex to prevent duplication, but the call names have to be fast. I suggest very early and continuous training, as a large assault dog can be a real handful later. Yours has the pistol grip, collapsible butt stock, flash hider, and will have a tendency to go full auto, like ours, I suspect. [:D] |

No, but the genetics is there.
Krupp and Dresden are my breeding pair, and have many Schutz III rated ancestors. The working dog talent is there. They are quite instinctive about guarding, protecting, and bite work. Mauser and Luger are from their first litter, and also exhibit a lot of talent. We stayed with obedience training, as the dogs have guarded since they were tiny pups. Pretty cute hearing an 8 week old bearlet give a warning growl when someone strange walks near his kennel, lol. |
