As members of our small town volunteer fire department,we are always looking for ways to raise cash for operating expenses and new equipment. Our fund raiser have run from gun raffles to fish frys and everything in between, including snake hunts. But we are running out of ideas and need help. Today we took delivery of a new pumper that the city bought for us,($155,000) but we have to rig it out.

We need some ideas, so don't be bashful. Our only drawback is the amount of time we can invest as we all have full time jobs to hold down.

We know there are creative minds in our little community, so what do they departments in your area do? Thanks...fullclip

A popular fund raiser around these parts is a "men of/women of" calendar. Get your fire crew to take pictures of themselves in "fire dress",print it up and sell it as a calendar.
