Scientists have combined the DNA from a goat and spider to create an animal which produces silk that is five times stronger than steel. The fibre, derived from the goats' milk, harnesses the huge strength of silk spun by spiders.

This seems to be part of a government plot to create lightweight body armor capable of repelling our small arms fire, thereby making the weapons we're restricted to under this imitation RKBA ineffective when they round us up into camps.

That is cool!

I remember reading about attempts to create spider silk for the areospace industry many years ago. They were trying to recreate the silk in the lab, but because it came from "mother natures kitchen" they just couldn't get it to work.

You'll think it's cool until the goats lay silky egg sacs out of which will hatch giant 8 legged goat/spider demons with a hunger for human flesh. I'd go better buy another 3000 rounds of South African .223.
