I had a guy come by with a contract for a natural gas lease today, he said that there is a large pocket under some of my land, is there anything I need to look out for in these klinds of leases (I am going to run it by my lawyer on monday, but thought someone here might have some experience with the NG leasing game).

Thanks in advance.

Hold out.  Natural Gas is finite.  It'll only get more valuable.

I asked him what happens if I don't sign, he told me that they will drill anyway (on a neighboring piece of property) and they will suck out the gas anyway).

Get some good legal advice.  Somebody I knew long ago did a mineral lease on their land, and the lessees screwed it up.  Something about they said it was for one thing, then they actually removed another.
