Went to the Source mall in Westbury to go get some footwear when i see this lady sitting under a tree minding her own business. All of a sudden a Blacked/tinted out toyota sportscar comes rolling around slowly and stops in the vicinity of the lady. As he is waiting there the "security" truck pulls up and the driver gets out of it, and the toyota get out, both are security. They then harass the lady and yell at her for loitering until she finally gets up and leaves. Have they nothing else to do?

so, i take it you know this lady, what she was doing, exactly what was said, and how long she was there?
let me also guess, you're between 15 and 21.
no, they don't have anything better to do, THEY WERE DOING THEIR JOB.
if you don't know the facts, shut your piehole.

Could have been a grifter.

We had this woman grifter at the mall a couple of years ago. You know, the old "ran out of gas/bus fare and need just $1 more to get home" line. One week I was at the mall two days in a row, and the woman hit me up both days.

So, the second day I tell her, "Don't you remember asking me for bus fare yesterday?" She says, "No, but you have to understand I have quite a large clientele!"

The next week the cops finally rousted her and I heard she moved to another local mall.

True story:

About 8 years ago one evening, about an hour before my first job interview, I went to a large shopping mall across street from my appointment and sat there, rehersing my interview answers and having a Slurpy. Suddenly two burly security guards escorted/dragged an elderly middle-eastern looking lady out of The Gap, with her middle-age daughter crying after her "She doesn't understand! She didn't mean it!" It was really sad because I didn't get the job.

You really have to watch out for these Ladies of the Malls.

1) with the shooting 2 days ago at Roosevelt Field (about 5 minutes away) I'm sure everyone's a bit edgy.

2) The Source Mall is a bit "snooty."

Somehow I dont see this "lady" in a business suit and heels with a shopping bag waiting for a taxi.
