LOL, G-man!
Ok, just for you, bro.
--------------------------
What I meant was simply and only this:
We hear of another suicide attack and many AR15.com members jump on the "kill 'em all" band wagon, and pretty blindly I will add. Let me just put my observations and beliefs.
-All people have the right to live in peace, free from fear.
-All people have the right to defend themselves.
-All people have the right to a representative government.
-Economic security makes people less inclined to fight.
-No religion or religious views should be forced on another person, nor should you be persecuted for yours.
-Justice is an integral part of peace.
Summation for Legrue:
I don't have an answer to mideast violence, but I don't think it is more violence. I think atrocities have been done on both sides. I think certain people on both sides are so blinded by hatred, that they will band TOGETHER to fight peace (Remember that one Star Trek Movie where the Federation and Klingon fanatics teamed up to sabotage the peace process?) I think that peace is truely in the interest of both palestinians and israelis.
Finally, in regards to this latest finagle, while I disagree strongly with any person that advocates violence to innocents to redress real or percieved injustices, I can at least understand WHY he said it.
An analogy is the WTC attack. I understand WHY the murderers think they were justified and I can look at reasons to REMOVE those justifications, even as I support Bush's efforts to hunt Bin Laden down and the rest of Al Qaida down.
LET ME REPEAT: If I had Bin Laden or any of those other SOB's in my sites, he would go down in a heartbeat. But I have to ask why do these people hate us? Some reasons given are pure BULLSH**, but some are not.
That is the reasoning behind my post.
--------------------------------------
So, g-man, if you were looking for a reasoned plan or position, I don't really have one here.
That is why I don't engage in mid-east thread pissing matches, because they are generally unreasoned and one sided.
