Am I an A hole? - AR15.COM

I was sitting in my den when I spotted some legs at my fence. It scared the crap outta the wife. I grabbed the brightest kryton bulbed light I owned and lit up a realtor and a couple of other people peering into my windows. It's freaking 10:00pm and dark.
I have a nice lot that's for sale next door.
I go out the front door. Remembering the Dr. across the street was robbed 2 weeks ago. So I figure these guys are casing the place. I light them up again and they say HI. We're looking at the lot. I said Oh OKAY. doh.

How the heck can they see the lot when there is no light. I don't need vampires moving in next door.

I never said I was not armed. If you were unexpected and knock on my door after dark, I will be armed. I just make it a point not to brandish. I was a BOY SCOUT and the motto stuck.

You know the more I think about it. It kinda pisses me off that some people aren't too bright. If I knew where they lived Maybe I could go check the level on their hot tub @ 9:30 pm. Or like many of you suggested borrow the jet ski.

I guess I'm lucky.

I live in a place / situation where, if someone can be seen from my window, they mean to meddle where they shouldn't be, and I don't have to wonder about their intentions.

ANd they'll have NO DOUBT about mine, in very short order.
