I'm looking at getting a new rifle the next few weeks, was considering a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in a .243 win.

How about you?

I got 2 AK kits I will be getting done in the spring.

After that will probably be some kind of semi .308.

GAP Thunder Ranch

At least it's my next INTENDED rifle - but since my deposit placed on Tuesday only gets me on a 5 month waiting list, I can't guarantee it will actually BE my next rifle.

We'll see.

Let me know what you decide, I was pretty much going for something similar, I think I'm going with the .243 since its so versatile.

I really want an AR-10 or a bullpup, so my next rifle will mostl likely be another cheap milsurp.

Top of the list is an AES-10B RPK or a Rossi .357 lever action, 16" stainless.

It's sitting at my FFL: A Marlin 1895GBL .45-70. It will be off to Grizzly Custom by next week.

If I had winter tires on my car, I would have picked it up today.

Probably a bolt gun in .308.  Currently leaning towards either a Tikka T3 Hunter or a Thompson/Center Icon.

Tikka T3 has been on my list for a while. Just don't know whether to go .223 or .308.    I know the .308 can reach out there, but for practicality, .223 is plenty for me. Decisions Decisions.

Mega Ma-Ten (308 ar). Just need Rainer to get some parts in and then I will finish it. If the ATF would hurry up and approve my stamps, I would complete some SBRs.

A cheap Savage or Remington with Iron sights and a 1.5X to 4X power scope, chambered (or more likely rechambered) in 358 win (.308 win necked up to 9mm, can reload everything from powderpuff 125 grain LRN at 700 FPS all the way up to 325 grain solids at 2800 FPS, basically within spitting distance of 375 H&H.) I want to use it on bear here in Cali.

My old Colt is getting long on the mileage, won't hold a good 600 yd group, gonna retire it to the 200 yd shoots.  Put the W/O with my 24" RRA varminter, and have "2" guns in one case, one for ATC and one for F-class.
