Hmm, you're right it is suspicious. Looking at the picture, you have to wonder what exactly was covered by the sharpie pen markings...

EDIT: looked at other pics and it just says there "25 round capacity". I think they would mention if it were LEO but who knows.

Although considering that none have moved at that price, it's hard to imagine there's nothing restricting sales..

It has to be pre-ban, there arent any LEO or Military applications for a 10-22 so if it holds more then 10 rounds, its preban, this guy just has 25 rounds crossed out because you cant sell higher then 10 round capacity mags on ebay. but everybody does it anyway.

OH, I guess I wasnt paying attention. I dont know anything about 10/22's so I dont know if its a good price, Id be willing to bet that He lists them on ebay also ant that is why its crossed out. $35 seems steep, Im sure its preban, but like I said I know nothing about 10/22 mag prices.

Canada has no ban on .22 cal mag capacity. So these mags are still made and sold to Canada residents.....

So, in fact it could be a postban mag. You will know because it will be stamped "Export only" on the mag body and also dated. I have seen some of these neatly dremeled so that the markings don't show. Be leary if they are coming from Canada. I noticed he mentioned Customs in the ad.

thats not only a deal, but a TASTY deal. most gun shows sell USED 10/22-25 rounders for about $50, NIW for $35 would be a steal. And i doubt it's post-ban, no real such thing, except the teardrop LEO mags.

They are probably Canadian mags for sure...

If I had a 10/22, I'd buy it.

These are just "new old stock".  They probable crossed out the capasity for "ebay".

They may have sold some on "ebay", and just used the same picture.
