Although this silly place is no substitute for being out in the real world and having a real life (that means you BOG!-get out of the house and do something instead of threatening to sue people in e-mails dammit) there is nothing wrong with checking in with us and letting us know how you are doing occaissionally on those late nights with the little fella crying. If life has you down, there is nothing wrong in talking about it here-the most responses here are usually to the "my wife left/my dad is in the hospital" type stuff-some of the people here have been around a long time and have good advice on most issues in life. |

Happy Birthday Judi,
Though you WILL be missed, it is probably good to spend your lurking hours with your son and doing "productive" things. Lord knows I could do with less time here. Darn addiction. I've found that happiness comes with doing things. Take up a sport or a hobby. Do some activities with the kid. Go for long walks. I used to worry and bitch and complain about every crappy thing in my life. Then I decided to just get out and do things and not even think or dwell on whether I was happy or not. I did it by taking up tennis and running. And I stopped saying no whenever I was invited somewhere. In about two months I realized my life did a complete reversal. I made friends easier cause people would rather be around a happy doer than a miserable complainer. I was healthier. Life was just a whole lot better. Sorry if this sounds a little 12 step, just want you to find your "HAPPY". [:)] |

Hey, sometimes life gets busy and I disappear from here for a while. Then things ease up or I am looking for something specific and I end up back on. It's cyclical.
Go spend time with the kid and do something else for a while. We'll still be here. |

Try not to let yourself get down to much, everyone goes through good and bad times, the trick is just being able to deal with the bad times.
Even though there are arguments and differences of opinion it doesn't mean that this group of folks don't care about each other. Just remember the group is always here for you if you want to come and talk....... or have a good argument [:D]. [bday] |
