What is a PS file and what does it open with.

Try to open with Adobe Acrobat [s]Reader[/s]. It's post script file, pretty much printer data. If it doesn't show anything useful, try opening it in Notepad, or any other plain text editor.

Or, any decent image editor (Adobe Photoshop, for one) should be able to view a PostScript file.

However, you could send one of us who HAVE Photoshop and Acrobat the file, and we'd have a look to see what it is, and we could send it back to you as PDF or JPEG, viewable in any browser.

It could be a PostScript file, but it all depends on WHO named it...
