WOW, Fort Knox, huh,, Congratulations (showoff)!. [:D]
JThompson is absolutely right, no matter what size you got - it's not big enough!
I had to remove 8' of outside wall to get the last one I bought in. 6'8"- H x 7''2"-W x 3'.0"-D, & yes, I could've removed the front door jamb (38" R.O.) & it would've fit through - but there's no way to handle a 3,200 LB steel box, so I had to make a little hole in the wall, then the cartage company's riggers used a forklift to set it on the slab as best they could - THEN I had to become an "Egyptian" for several days to manipulate it to where it finally sets now. If I ever sell this home, that damned thing stays, I never want to go through that again!
My point is - I didn't ever want to buy another safe in my life. Today it's full, & I do mean FULL! I picked up another Wilson 1911 today (Commander size), & it took me 20 minutes trying to make room for it - without the pistol's case!
I used to keep everything SO neat in there, I duno WTF happened. Maybe you already know it, but it'll happen to you too -they breed, ya know!
Good choice on the "Chuck Yeager" safe, they're about as good as it gets.
