It's like Rush on steriods. I've listened to Savage on talk radio(780 KOH)for about a year now. This guy is fired up and is nationally syndicated. If you haven't heard him, you must. It is a treat.  I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE !!!!!

He's also a fascist, and he grates on my nerves.  He actually advocated suspending the entire Bill of Rights after 9/11.  I'm sorry, but that is something I cannot go along with.  The government operates within the law, or they are lawless.  And a lawless government leads to tyranny.  He founded the Paul Revere Society, but his mouth betrays his true feelings at times.  He's the worst kind of reactionary talking head on the right.  I agree with him sometimes, but when the cards are on the table he doesn't care about freedom.

The local conservative talk station removed him from his spot on the schedule, and I haven't missed him.

Yeah too bad he is an arrogant sob. He treats people shitty. He's a total asshole. He claims to have a phd but I have listened to him on more than one occasion where he cites something like from history and he is wrong.

You're right, he treats his callers shitty, but he's great when it comes to bashing Kommie-pinkos.

I can see your point about reactionary, but you have to admit, his comments about "red diaper doper babies" is great. It makes me think of that puke, Morris Dees.

The only problem is that he uses the same phrases every show.  Listen to him for a few months and it gets old.  As I said, I agree with some of what he says, but he's as anti-freedom as he is anti-socialist.

Amen.  I've been listening to him for about five or six years now, mostly because he is what is on during my commute and my radio would be on 560 anyhow.  I would get so pissed of at what an idiot he was I wouldn't listen for a while and then lazyness would set in again.  He used to lambaste libertarians as liberal and had no clue as to their platform.  From a guy who does political commentary?  Plus he claims to have invented every phrase out there.  We were calling the two major parties the republicrats back in the mid eightees.  He may be right on some things, but he is such an ass, who cares?

I like Savage, he is a very bright guy, probably the best educated talk show host.  Sometimes he is pretty negative which can be depressing, but I think he has a realistic view of things.

Ah, come on you gatta like it when he rags on the " RED DIAPER DOPPER BABIES", that is halarious. I especialy like it when he starts in on the liberals on "Prozac", with the foam drool falling out of there mouths.

I do have to admit, even though I agree with maybe 65% of what he says, he does seem to have some anger issues, and a few moths ago he made a comment about takeing away one of the vary reasons why this country was founded, and that is the right to your personal choice of religion. He was commenting on the Islamic extremeists shareing there religion with others and conveting them to Islam. He was saying that we should make it against the law for individuals to share there faith in God regarless of your faith, whether it is Christian,Islam,Buddism, ect. He was suggesting this as away to deal with the terrorist threat.

Sometimes I wonder about the guy, but you do have to admit the guy tells it how he sees it,and he is right on somethings.

I dont know I think Micheal Savage is ok, but he could use some help in treating his callers a little better, especialy the ones who call in that like his show.

Although his rudeness is kinda funny when he just tears a liberal caller a new one.

Or when someone who calls in is pro-palestinian, or pro-Islamic. The liberals hate him, it makes for good entertaining listening at times because he is good at turning a conversation around and ripping peoples liberal bias apart.

Yep, has a PhD from the U of Kalifornia.  Used to work as a research scientist.  Has written some books, best known are nutrition books that I find kooky.  I think 80 percent of his show is an act, but same is true with Rush, Liddy, Stern, etc.

Savage is humorous to listen too.  He does to Liberty Safe commercials on his SF station, so he can't be too anti.

On the other hand, he is a bit of a jackass and not in favor of personal right all of the time. [:(]

I tend to enjoy listening to the liberal station (a pacifica station, KPFA for me, 94.1).  It's funny.  And you get to learn how the red diaper doper babies think on many issues.

He has a Glock and an AR, but he is still an ass.  He hates to talk guns on his show.

He advertises the safes but advocates the removal of the Bill of Rights and personal freedoms.  Sounds like he's conflicted.

Believe it or not, but I used to co-host a radio program on KPFA's sister station here in Houston, KPFT.  However, it was not political in nature.  I quit when I could no longer stand the stink of patchouli and the whacked out vies.

I used to listen to Democracy Now, but I got tired of "the media is run by the extreme right" crap.  If you're so left that you think the media is "right-wing," then you've got serious issues.  Still, she did have the balls to address some issues that most mainstream media wouldn't.
