it's kinda of funny that the same joke was posted here not long after 9-11 and it was well recieved.
Not my call but moderation has been kinda cut throat here lately. Have all the mods completely lost their sense of humor? Or are you guys going hard core PC? Not a flame just an observation. mike |

Do you think the joke was OK, or do you think it was out of line? After reading the Board code above, what would YOU do in my place? IIRC, I was not a mod the first time that one came around, so I can't be answerable for that incident. |

like i said no flame intended. I'm just calling it like i see it also. I don't think the joke in question was OFFENSIVE nor do i think it was promoting genocide. politically incorrect yes.
I don't think anyone here will read that joke and go out and kill anyone. If they do they have MUCH deeper issues. As for offending muslims, i doubt you want my opinion on that one. I guess i'm just an insensitive white guy. Although i don't get my panties in a wad over whitie jokes. In fact i think some of them are damned funny. As for the moderation of it i would have left it until someone complained and gave good reason to delete the thread. Lord knows worse things have been said in threads that were let stand. Just my opinion, and we both know what that is worth. [:D] mike |

I dunno if it was offensive to Muslims, but I'm sure it was to Amerinds! Since it was offensive to me, I asked myself to move it, [b] as it was a re-post of a moved/deleted topic[/b], not the brightest of things to do, IMHO. So you see, there was more than one thing going on here. |

But it seems some Mods are enjoying the NUKE button lately. It aslo seem some of us are trying the patience of the Mods as well. I can understand why some threads get locked, but there are some that I feel shouldn't. I guess we would have to walk in your shoes for a while. No flame ment here either. That's OK. I don't mind explaining why I do things. Seems to me Y'all are entitled to at least that.

Did you read the second one? The post was an apology, with an explanation to Sweep. I didn't think anyone except Sweep would reply.
