How about a pre-Market Hall Gun Show/pre-Hun's Fun in the Sun Gun Shoot dinner at the Tejas Grill tomorrow evening, June 14th?

Tejas Grill is at the intersection of Dallas Tollway and State Hwy 121 in Frisco, Texas, near the Stonebriar Mall.

Alternative sites may be considered!

Miz Hun is in Las Vegas this week and the Hun is available for partys, etc.

I say Tejas Grill simply so you guys can try it out!

The drink of the evening - the 'State Trooper'!

That sounds good. Are we still doing lunch Saturday?

I'll be in CA. [:(] Have a drink for me.

Or else I would've suggested the all you can eat sushi and Japanese food buffet @ Osaka on Preston and Park

[#4]
Osaka is great for lunch, but not for dinner, IMHO, lordtrader.

A man's gotta have real food for the evening.

Let's see, from memory, the 'Tejas Grill Special':

Steak fajitas, chicken fajitas, two grilled Jumbo shrimp, three barbecued ribs, carnitas(!), and a grilled quail to top it off! Rice, beans, pico de gallo, and guacamole.

Now that's a dinner fit for a Hun!

And to bunghole, well, if you come to the Tejas Grill on Friday night around...7:30 - 8:00 - 9:00 - ? ...you may not want much more to eat at lunch Saturday, but we're still going to Uncle Julio's Saturday at Noonish.

Miz Arock and I graciously accept your kind invitation.  PARTY TIME!!

How about 7:30??

I gotta be at Market Hall the following morning to look for an Armalite one-piece 30mm scope mount.  If I get there late somebody be on the lookout for one.  The guys at K2 said there were three last weekend in Ft. Worth and wouldn't you know I took a pass on that show...

What time???

I think I will do my major move June 22, so this weekend is mostly open (besides packing).

Or, what about Bone Daddy's??? there's a place with a great-looking wait-staff....

At some point I need to come meet y'all and join in the fun. Friday would be perfect since we live in Frisco. Unfortunately we already have plans, so it will not be this weekend. But next time I think the better half and I will certainly try and make it.

Bone Daddy's sounds like fun but Eric the(AlwaysOnTheProwlForGoodChow)Hun has touted the Tejas Grill for so long I'd like to try it.

I've been waiting for a chance for the DFW guys to start sitting down together on a semi-regular basis.  Why don't we think about meeting at Bone Daddy's in a couple of weeks?  Then maybe catch chow as a group once a month or whatever feels right?

There are some local ranges that stay open after dark.  How about a Friday night dinner shoot?  Meet after work at the range for a couple hours then do drinks and dinner?

About 8:00 PM, I would think, since it would give everyone time to get home from work and get out there.

It doesn't matter if it's 9:00 or later, I'm in!

Bone Daddys' next time, I need food and drink, not that other stuff.

What is thie "WIFE" everyone talks off. I am the first one to admit that I do not know all the firearms out there. Does this "WIFE" come in .223 or pistol calibers only? Is it pretty easy to conceal and carry? Is it noisy, can it be silenced? How bout attachment and accessories? Where can I get one of these?

Do tell [;D][:D][;D][:D]

I like to hit Bone Daddy's at LEAST once a week... as for local ranges-- I noticed Bullet Trap has decided to close by 8PM! Any other good ranges (don't say Target Master...)...?

We kinda do need to get a firm number on how many are coming.

We can get the private room if we have enough advance notice. Post here or e-mail me prior to Noon on Friday.

We'll have drinks in the bar and then retire to the back room for dinner.

Get me a solid number! RSVP, ASAP!

Hey, I regularly "do something Mexican." Well, American of Mexican descent, anyway... [+]:D]

Jarhead, party of two, will be there for dinner at 8:00.

Arock will be there at 2000 hours.  Earlier if he's thirsty.  Miz Arock will be arriving late.  One of her girlfriends from the pre-Arock era is having a going-away party that will put her maybe an hour behind us.  But have no fear she will be there.

Well, I just called Tejas Grill and the private party room is already booked from 7:00 til 11:00, but they will have no problem seating a party of 12 in the Main Room.

Any additional attendees, sign up before Noon Friday and I'll make the final reservation!
