I too am a guitar player. That's the coolest weapon/axe I've seen in a while! I think I saw one like it on eBay some time ago though. All mine are conventional pre-ban electric guitars...
I can probably post some pics, but it's kinda off topic for this forum sonce they don't look like assualt weapons.

Hell yeah I am a player!

JeZZuS!?!?! That is a cool lookin thing....great for a roudy Country Band!

With the two Humbuckers type pickups, probably hot wound and swichable, and then the Strat style single up near the neck would imply that guitar is setup for a heavy type of rock music.

And what the hell is that tremolo system? Odd as hell.

Er...uh..Wanna sell it????

I play.

Have enjoyed playing for over 40 years.

Accoustic is my pleasure, haven't struck up the electric in 25 years.  Still have an original Fender Twin Reverb amp (uses tubes), feed back was tremendous from this amp.

I do not have one like that!  I enjoy the 6 strings.  My wife and friends have after my 10 years of practice.

I have a Martin and Ovation that I like on Acoustic, Les Paul and Strat for electric evenings.  I do it in my free time.

Hey Tras-  It's cool to see another JEM player that is also a shooter!  I collect JEMs and can post some pics when I get home from work. Right now I have three JEMs plus a UV777BK. The JEMs are a 7RB, a 77FP, and a 777SK that's had a cool swirl refinish.  I'm usually a regular at jemsite.com, but haven't been on there lately.

I too have a love for guitars as well as AR's.I play ESP guitars exclusively(endorsed) but that thing is cool!Is it pre-ban? :) But to afford the toys for shooting I have to trade or sell excess guitar stuff. I got a bunch of instructional videos for guitar, Eric Johnson, Paul gilbert, Marty Friedman, and a slew of others that I'm trying to sell . I just dont want to wait for the next guitar show in the area. I have over 25 titles. If anybody's interested I'm selling them for $15-$20 dollars apiece + shipping. I'll even package deal 5 for $70. shipped. Anybody Interested? Email me and I'll send the complete list. Thanks

Sad to say it. My guitar collection outnumbers my AR collection right now, but not my overall firearms collection.

My 'baby' is my '52 Telecaster RI. Also have 2 Taylors accoustics that get picked on alot. Then there's several other Tele's and different brand Strat clones laying around here.

gus I could have given you a good deal on a '95 Jem 77. I ordered it through Musician's Friend for $1,465 while stationed in Ft. Sterwert, GA. That damn Floyd Rose trem drove me crazy. Traded it for a Fender DRRI that the guy was asking $400 for, about 2 years ago. Now it's only solid bridges for me, ala Tele.

Before getting into AR's a couple months ago, I was a daily poster at the Fender Discussion Forum. My posting handle was/is NewOldStock. Havn't been there for several weeks though.

Rock On!

I started playing when I was 9 and I'll be 30 in a few weeks.  Recently got engaged and sold every guitar I own.  3 PRS's(all McCarty's, one with a 10 top purple!), 1 Strat, 1 Ovation, 1 Les Paul, an Ibanez, and a BC Rich.
Not to mention the Line6, HotRod Deville, 5150 half stack.  But not to fret, I've got my eye on a nice whale blue PRS McCarty 10 top w/birds and a Boogie Rectoverb.  I got plans for that wedding cash!  Oh I did manage to trade one of those PRS' for a blue labe Colt and used the money from another to get a BM that I'm picking up tonight!  But I sold my last guitar a few weeks ago and I'm dying to play!

Kevin N - Damn! I would have bought that, assuming the price was right. I only ever bought one new JEM, the 77FP, which was my first. I've never paid more than $700 for one since, but I'm sure a PMC or something will come along someday at the same time I've got money laying around. I started out with a 77 hardtail Strat, which I still have and would instantly break out an AR to protect. The frets are just about worn out, but it means more to me than anything else I own, even my house. I also have a chrome aluminum bodied `94 anniversary model, and a `66 Tele (a real one!). My uncle left the Tele to me years ago.
Others in the stable include a Carvin 6/12 double-neck, a Hamer Studio (USA of course), and two Ovation Elites - one 6 and one 12 string.  My amp rig currently consists of an ADA MP1, a Marshall stereo power amp, and two Marshall 1960 cabinets. I probably should sell at least some of it, but you know how it is - once you own it and it's paid for......

The body is aluminum - kinda like an AR15  (obligatory content)

Interesting replies!  I was out of town (and away from my 'puter) for a few days.

gus - Hell yeah!  I'm surprised myself to see a fellow Jem enthusiast here.  I got my first with a UV7BK (yes the "ugly one with green pickups") back in '91.  Been hooked ever since.

And since we got guitar players reading this,

Anyone got any Boogies for sale?

What, none of you are buddin' surf guitarists?  The Strats will do, but someone should get the Twin Reverb to go with it.  No Jaguars or Jazzmasters out there plugged-in to an outboard reverb-tank and then into a Dual-Showman?
