You'll notice that the slings they were using were the regular slings attached to the top of the rifle with 550 cord as a 'tac sling'. I believe the ordnance tape was used to help attach the rear of the sling.

I'm with Hop- it looked like they had there slings taped into position for a 'tac sling' set-up.

I seem to remember the lion chasing scene in the beginning was quite a bit longer at the theater.

It wasn't lion, it was boar. Boar as in wild hog.

Is the DVD version shorter than the theatre version?
I went to see it the first nite. Is it me, or were certain scenes longer at the theatre, than are on this DVD. Have only watched 1/2 of the DVD so far. M4-AK |

M4-AK Maybe it just seemed to be shorter because I already knew what to expect, but I agree that there are some scenes that seemed to be over faster on the DVD. When I watched it in the theatre I thought they'd never finish the scene where they are trying to clamp the femoral artery. |

It was a wild pig. They talked about Delta doing stuff like that in the book as well. I saw the movie 4 times in the theater... it seems the same length on DVD to me.
