Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - PPG Industries, anybody work for em.........

.....or know anyone who does? I'm in the middle of what is amounting to several exhaustive interviews and was wanting some info from some employees as far as how well you like or don't like working for them. This branch of the company concentrates on windshields, though my primary skills would be in maintenance any info would be appreciated.

I worked for a competetor of PPGs for a while.
The outfit I worked for had many ex-PPG employees.
The biggest thing I ever got out of them was that if you were hired on to be a worker, you'd always be a worker.  If you have aspirations to break into a management role, you'll have no chance from the worker position.
