Pretend that these are the only two GOP candidates.  Who do you like more?  Why?

Well, Romney has better hair, but Christie appears to be quite jolly due to his status as a fatty-fatty-boombalatty.

Tough call.

Christie reminds me of Santa Claus.

for this reason, I shall vote.

I'd vote for obama before I voted for those clowns.
Atleast with obama we can count on a republican controlled congress.

I think I would vote Christie.

My biggest problem with him is his past support for NJ's AWB, but other than that, I love the guy.

Romney strikes me as a smarmy RINO through and through.....

Christie, both are gun hating RINO's, but Christie is good with a budget.

I know more about Romney, therefore am very unlikely to vote for him.

Christie supports a new nationwide AWB.  He'll never get my vote.

Chris Christie is no friend of gun owners or public sector workers.  Also he believes in the global warming scams which undoubtedly means he wants to tax YOU to enrich government, with no gain for anyone but those in charge.

Public union busting is terribly popular right now, mainly with laid off or out of work private sector people who want revenge on public employees and their more secure jobs and pensions.  When just 4 or so years ago these same private sector people were laughing at how shitty public pensions and pay were compared to their jobs and fabulous 401k's.

They are both the same for the most part, no real difference, anti-gun rights Super RINO's. I wouldn't vote for either of them.

Christie.  Only because I liked that scene where he gave Tony that AR-10 at the lake house, then kicked his ass.

I like Christie and I absolutely believe he is the right man for the NJ Governorship. As an America POTUS though? Not so much, IMO.

Romney, while having the economic background of running a business is a plus, he pretty much sucks in most every other regard.

Given the choice, I'd probably go with Christie as I'd trust him more than Romney to do what's needed to get our financial house in order.

I plan on voting for Paul if either of them are on the ballot.
Last thing we need is a jackass republican to halt the conservative movement.

I agree, but it's all the other baggage they carry that sets them apart.

I'm a conservative, but support very few of the libertarian side shows.

Either way, I'll vote for anyone running against Obama who has a chance of winning.

Say hello to Emperor Obama, a permanent AWB, amnesty for 12+ millions grateful new democrats.....and a true socialist America by executive order.

Validated by the SCOTUS.

If he did get in the race, the AWB and gun control would come up pretty damn fast and he would be forced to explain any comments about a national AWB.  He could take the easy way out and call it "state rights" and use the argument that it's up to the individual states but has no place as a federal law.  If he did that and came right out and said "I will not sign an AWB" that would do it for me anyway.
