I am just curious how many people still have a walmart within a reasonable distance that sells guns...

Whenever I read or hear the word Walmarts, I chuckle for some reason.

The one a mile from my house does. Several in the area don't though. I won't buy from them because of their rules for selling.
mine sells long guns and has started selling reloading supplies lately
The Walmarts around here either sell guns but no beer or sell beer but no guns
Closet Wal Mart to me is 90 miles away in UT. They sell long guns, shot guns and ammo of all types.
I've never seen one, and I think I've been in them all within a 50 mile radius
Many of them don't even sell ammo |
Not in CA, but they used to. I bought a WalMart Special Ruger 10/22 in '01.
None of the Walmarts in the south Austin area do but the one in San Marcos has some rifles in a case.

Quoted: CA made the process the FFL has to follow too complicated and Walmart had problems complying with the law. The Caliban wonNot in CA, but they used to. I bought a WalMart Special Ruger 10/22 in '01. |

The Walmart off of Slaughter Ln and 35 has guns and ammo. When I travel to Austin for work, one of my offices are in the area and I have been in there several times. However, the nice thing is that about 15 more minutes of driving will get you to a Cabela's.
Yep , and you can look up what they sell on line.
anything on line can be ordered with 50% down. |

I used to live near Dundee MI and cabelas isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Saying it's a better option to go to cabelas is like saying you'd rather buy batteries from a mom and pop gas station convenience store than Walmart. You are going to pay out the ass at one place and get a decent deal at the other. |
Alaska checking in with a big yes to having guns sold in wally world.
Yes. Recently expanded ammo section as well. Waiting to see if we've got one of the stores selected to start selling handguns again.
No and I'm glad they don't. To many people buy too much shit from walmart (myself sometimes included). Yes, my gun shops cost more, and if they are way over line then I get what I want from gunbroker and have it shipped to them where I pay a reasonable fee. That to me is more rewarding than buying it from the gay ass walmare with its douchebag employees.
No, a couple black powder rifles occasionally but nothing more
Alaska Wal-Mart had a 4 page gun sale flyer today. 99501 in the zip code search if you want to check it out.

Far better then any Bass Pro I have ever been to. Especially when you walk into there collectors display room. Some really nice guns for many many $$$$$ |
Yes. I live within 2 miles of one that does. There are 5 Wal Marts within 10 miles or so of me, and I think all but one of them sells guns (at least 3 do). The one that doesn't still sells ammo.
They used to. The one in a little hicktown south of me still does. Go figure.
All of the ones in my county(in FL) sell rifles and shotguns. They've even started to sell Blackhawk holsters at my nearest one.
We have two in our area.
One sells guns but has a small selection of ammunition. The other does not sell guns but has an impressive ammunition cabinet. |
Not in communist NJ...
But over in the free parts of this country, I hear they do! |
I'm not still in Michigan, I moved to Iowa in 06. I haven't seen a Walmart with guns since I moved.
4 of the 5 stores within 25 miles of my home sell rifles and shotguns. The one 2 miles away sold handguns also when they first opened up about 10 years ago but dropped them after a couple years. I don't know if handguns are even offered at any store now.

Fudd rifles and shotguns. We used to have this, but they got rid of them 2-3 years ago. The cases have GPS units and fish finders in them now. ETA: How come I couldn't vote no AND OP is an asshole? |

I also think Cabelas has one of the better selections of clothing for the $. I have a Duhnams and Gander Mountain 5 miles so I do not go to walmart unless I need TP.. |

Minot ND: yes
back in Lebanon PA, near where the folks liev: no |
12 miles to one, they also started selling wire welders and welding supplies.
There are several Walmarts that I go to that sell firearms.
Impeach Obama for the Good of the Poor. |
One about 15 minutes away does. The one five minutes away does not.
