Nice pistol!! I've been pondering an STI Spartan in 9mm to keep my .45 1911 company. 9mm is just fun to shoot.

You better send it to me before you hurt yourself with it.
VERY NICE!! |

Awesome. They gonna let you carry that thing? Imagine that!?!? |

Get your ass out there, and shoot the damn thing!
It better not be a "safe queen". Pics of the 1/2 inch groups would be nice also. |

You'll put your eye out with that thing!
I don't care if it's .22LR, that 1911 is Honey Badger. Badass!!! |

Nice Wave! Did you escape NY or is that a dept. issue can?
ETA: must....read...thread...I see you're still in NY. |

Suppresor in NY? Nice gun Some citizens in NY are more equal than others. I'm guessing the LEO connection(s) are key in this situation. Nice gun, though. ETA: found this on another forum: Under PL 265.20, peace officers are exempt from virtually all weapons restrictions, including possession of a silencer which is normally forbidden under 265.02. It makes no distinction between on and off-duty use.

That is nice, here I've been debating a 9mm EMP and you show up with this.

First become an exempt person as defined by NYS Penal Law (LEO only) then proceed to get chumley with the CLEO at your dept. Then beg with them to sign your Form 1/Form 4 and then mail the ATF your paperwork, LEO credentials, and $200.. Wave, did you get the sign off or did you go the trust route? Only reason I ask is because I'm curious if the ATF will approve a trust for a NY'er.. My Sheriff wont sign the paperwork and I think the ATF will deny a NY trust.. |
