Yeah it's a small tea party convention but he is working the Tea parties and streets hard!

http://www.suntimes.com/7982604-417/herman-cain-wins-straw-poll-at-first-teacon-in-midwest.html

 I like these quotes.......

" Cain said he would spend money to build up a strong U.S. defense; support Israel; push domestic oil drilling with an “attitude adjustment” for the EPA, and promote his 9-9-9 tax reform plan.
Saying “I kinda like clinging to my guns and Bibles, and I’m not going to let them go,” Cain declared, “this nation is weaker as a result of this administration.”

This man I think is on a roll and the more people listen to his message and see his record his support will continue to sky rocket!

Go Gett'm Cain.....

Cain wins the NFRW poll ,

What is this?  The 3 or fourth poll in a row now?

He definately has my attention. He seems to be focusing on the issues, rather than bitch sparring back and forth with Perry and the other doosh...

Yeah the quote I put up seem's he is getting it!!     Strong Defense,  Drill baby Drill, Support Israel, Can EPA, Pro 2a and 9-9-9 plan on the way to fair tax!!

I hope he can start to get some of the attention he deserves. A smart, driven man. I'm backing him.

he was my first choice, then i kind of waivered as he was not getting any traction, but i am glad he is and will be supporting him. he will easily win the GA primary as well. i hope he picks rubio for VP if he gets the nod.

Be careful there.   He never said he would can the EPA.  He said he would REFORM it.   He hasn't promised to do away with any federal agencies.

He has my attention and i like some of what he has to say. However im still not sold on a national sales tax and income tax at the same time. I would prefer one or the other. Income tax is the devil i know and i know what evils are in the income tax system and what needs fixed(flat tax). Sales tax to me is unknown unintended consequences.

It's a moot point.  The 9-9-9 plan has no shot at passing the legislature IMO.  However, he will likely be able to get some sort of meaningful reform through depending on the Congress he has to work with.

I am going to vote Cain in the S.C. primaries. I was really high on Bachman, but she just seems outclassed in the debates and seems to resort to childish retorts and name calling rather than offering substantive solutions like she did early on. I can't stand Romney, and Perry's stance on illegal immigrants and his inability to think on his feet in the last debates took away my faith in him, as it makes him appear vacant. I still want to like Paul, but his stance on the terrorist issues, his belief that isolation would keep the Muslim world at bay, and similar things of that nature that are totally out of touch with reality keep him from getting my vote. Palin has too many negatives if she were to run, and screw Chrisitie and his 2nd amendment stance. I like Gingrich, but again, easy to attack in the general. The others just don't appeal to me at all.

Cain caught my attention early, and has continued to impress me more and more.Barring something like support for gun restrictions he will remain in the top spot for me from this point on.

Nothing makes me madder than a politician jibbering in lawyer double speak that don't mean shit.

Hopefully, he'll move to support  Allen West as the new Speaker Of The House Of Representatives.

If Herman Cain is the man he is portraying himself to be... our nation will have some EXPERIENCED LEADERSHIP to put our nation back on course and we'll have a revival of American Spirit, ingenuity and entrepreneurship.

Maybe we'll even see an investigation, a real investigation, into BHO's background and see the unraveling of the socialist/communist/progressive movement.

Cain has an incorrect view of government, its still too large and he wouldn't do much about that.  Still he could fix some things for the better and get people thinking the government isn't the solution to everything.  Far from perfect, not exactly a liberty minded guy, but I'd vote for him pending my other choices.

He is the best of the field who has even a remote shot.  Even if Johnson or even Paul were to somehow win the nomination, they would be thrashed in the general.

Cain is the only candidate i have seen libertarians and conservatives speak well of on this site.  That says a lot.

Yeah I mean overall he's solid AND offers real solutions which is rare.  Most of the time its I'll pledge to so and so or if elected I'll whatever, but nothing actually happens.  To have a plan drawn out shows he gives it thought which is nice.  It would be bizzare to see him in the general because they can't play the race card.

Cain is not the statist that Perry & Romney are and he needs some fundamental education regarding constitutional limits on government and protections for individual liberties. His positions are 'evolving'... But, I'm hoping his successful business background will start the dismantling of the obstacles and disincentives to business growth and development that have become a hallmark of the Obama regime.

We are living through an explosive expansion of federal and federally directed state bureaucratic entrenchment. It has to be stopped before it blooms completely into an Orwellian nightmare that we can't unravel.

Mr. Cain needs to spend some time with Congressman Allen West to get that gut-level, fundamental re-education going before he's really ready to step up and assume control over this nation.

The GOP is struggling with an identity crisis. It really needs to resolve the crisis and decide whether or not it can still be or wants to be a viable part of the American political landscape.

Cain's ethics are a helluva lot closer to Natural Law & Moral theology than the rest of the pack. And those ethic's will better serve our nation than a statist's manifesto or the islamo-sympathetic, atheistic, Godless communism guiding our nation now.

I'm not completely sold on the 9/9/9 plan.  Needs some tweaking.

That being said, I watched his interview with Chris Wallace this morning on Fox.  A point was made, which I absolutely agree with.  Herman Cain answers tough questions directly.  He speaks with sincerity, common sense, and honesty.  How often do you see a politician do that?

Nor should he, if he wants any independent support.

Reform is the right word for most of the naive citizens of this country.

If a good statesman could ever get in office, then with the bully pulpit he can shine the light on how corrupt this government actually is and then shit can many agencies, and incarcerate many treasonous politicians.

Immigration is more important and toxic.

I dont like AA, and am sure Cain's stance is likely more reasonable than I think.

But as soon as I heard Perry support making the US even more magnetic to fucking D voting illegals, it was over. I went from supporting him to despising him.

Cain is the best thats left, and has a lot of upside.
