I don't know about the hive, but my recommendation is either repost this in Survival Forums for real advice or post some pics of your wife to help us GD folks decide what to tell you to do...

Screw your rafters to the metal storage shed. Sheet with plywood and screw on your metal roof. This would be a flat roof though......
or pole building. |

Set anchors into the cement. Use 4x4 posts and build it like a car port?

I would spend the extra money to roof over both containers and the center with a gable end roof. Add a little clearance over the containers so you can store junk assets on top.
It will look a hell of lot better, too. |

That way you can rig for heavy overhead lifting if need be. Then cover with some powder coated sheet steel roofing. |

Best ones I've seen were 2 more containers placed on top, perpendicular to the ones on the ground.
Great roof, massive amounts of storage. |

Seen it used several times in Iraq as a garage\shop. Didn't take any pictures.
