Lol, a C300......that car starts at $38k.
2012 C350 has 302hp and would without an issue beat an Escalade to 60. Aside from being an Apples vs. Oranges comparison, the C350 bases around $41k...an Escalade base is $63k. |

That is the most fucked up comparison ever and leave it to Gov't Motors to do an apples to oranges comparison....and be proud of it. Why did the not run the Escalade piece of shit against a GL550 with a 382hp V8? |

Sorry, 80% of the target market understands the point of the commercial was the MB was used as a benchmark to show the acceleration of the Caddy and all done in good dry humor. Although, 80% of the target market probably does not care about the acceleration of a full size SUV. Here in Texas it is a very popular vehicle for business. |

When I renewed my registration last week, there was a large mouth woman pissin' about having her FARM TRUCK plates on her new Escalade confiscated and written a couple of tickets by the DPS. Seems a trooper saw the vehicle at the beauty salon, and just could not convince himself that was a legitimate farm related operation!

I think the point is that the Escalade gets up for a big fucker. But it is still slow. A geezer tried to race me in his Escalade, I was in a Mustang GT. He got spanked and I dont road race, I kicked his ass and never went over 3,500 RPMs in any gear.
In the video you can see neither vehicle is going anywhere fast. |

After a few years a caddy is just another piece of GM trash.
Benzes tend to still feel like benzes 10, 20, 30 years down the road. I don't give a crap which one clicks through a 1/4 faster. Both are relatively quick. |
