City councilmen faces misdemeanor in election fraud case
http://www.wpxi.com/news/29340951/detail.html
When police questioned Lavelle, they were told to talk to his lawyer,
according to an affidavit of probable cause. The charges are
misdemeanors.

"Police say Lavelle, 33, of the Hill District, signed a nominating
petition for Wheatley that included the name of a man who had died a
month before he supposedly signed it, as well as signatures of people
who had moved out of the houses listed, lived in different states, and
denied signing the petition. One man who supposedly signed the petition
was in a New Jersey prison at the time."

Nah....

You have to do something serious, like burn a couch in celebration to get a felony.
