I have an iPhone 4 now, have for a little while.

When you Jailbreak the iPhone 4, does it slow it down to a snails pace?

I havent jailbroken an iPhone since the 3G, and it sucked ass, it was so slow.

So is it worth doing yet? Also, what program is best to use?

Thanks guys.

In before the haters.

Just sell it on C.L. and buy a phone for the carrier you want.

Actually, around here, ATT is pretty much the best.

Ive been with them for about 7 or 8 years now.

ETA: I just realized you may think Im unlocking the phone to use for any carrier. Jailbreaking is totally different, still sticking with ATT.

redsn0w, but at the time, jailbreakme.com wasn't running. check on the devteam site now and see what they're recommending for your firmware

My experience exactly. A month after I did the JB on my 3g, I restored it to factory settings. It was so slow, it was almost unusable.

I'm still on the fence about doing it on my 4.

Not to hijack, but does anyone know if there is a jailbreak for the latest firmware upgrade?

I had my 3g jailbroken for a while and played with some of the apps etc. It was ok.

I remember jailbreaking my Iphone 4, and not being able to find any apps that would work or were up to date. I restored it.

I have a jailbroken 4. I was on the fence about it and now I can't imagine not having a jailbroken iPhone.

There are times its a hair slower on some instances, but it's barely noticeable.

MiWi, Intelliscreen, and SB Settings are worth it alone...
