USGI - military surplus by any other name.

There are some rare 30 rounders that have 3 welds in them rather than the normal 5 - somebody here will probably buy the 3 weld magazines because they're "collectable". People say bad things about the 3 spot welded magazines. I have a "bunch" of magazines and never have seen a 3 weld one.

Check your USGI surplus magazines for cracked feed lips and major dents and dings. Also make sure they don't sport a manufacture date near the lower inch of the side of the magazine indicating that it is of post ban manufacuture and therefore forbidden to own my subjects of the crown.

Green followers can be purchased for $.50 to $1 and simply installed yourself. The front "leg" on the green followers is a bit longer and helps prevent follower tip on the last couple of rounds of a 30.
