Did any  of you Texas guys happen to go to the Fort Worth show? Is it worth a two hour drive or should I wait for Market Hall?   fullclip

The Fort Worth shows are always a disappointment.

They didn't use to be disappointing, but, alas, they have become so.

We haven't set up at a Fort Worth Gun Show in about three years.

But, heh-heh, I still make the 55 mile trip to the show and back anyway!

I get nervous if I know there's a show going on and I'm not there!

fullclip-What about the Big Town show out in Mesquite? Good show, easy access, free parking and it rolls around pretty often.

Can someone post links to the FtWorth and Mesquite shows? I would like to have a schedule handy. Already have the Market Hall one. TIA

As a rule, between the two Ft Worth Shows, Will Rogers is much better than Tarrant County Convention Center.

LT, here's the Mesquite Gun Show calendar:

I can't find one for the Ft. Worth Gun Shows, but DonR is right on - the Will Rogers shows are the better than the Tarrant Co. Convention Center!

The Dallas Market Hall show is next weekend, right?

I need to find an StG-58 gas nut wrench, and I wouldn't mind a hundred rounds of 5.56mm tracer, either.

Yesiree, Jarhead_22, it's next weekend.

And LT says let's meet at Brother Nick's table by the concession stand around 11:00ish and make another raid on Uncle Julio's!

I'm game.

Then mojo will be there Sunday, around 12:00!

I guess I'll try for Market Hall, I had to work today. I've seen Will Rodgers where you had three rooms to walk thru, but not lately.

Kind of looking around for either a varmint upper for my ar, or a ak to try out. The decision is killing me...[:D] fullclip

An interesting heads up for those in the DFW area. Winchester Gallery in Ft. Worth is expanding its range soon and one of the additions is a larger classroom for CHL and Hunters Ed. As an added benefit Bob(the owner) is planing to hold small gun shows several times a year(30-40 tables, private only, no dealers) it should be interesting.

No this is Bob Cupp owner of the Winchester Gallery and the Shooting Gallery. One heck of a nice guy to work for.

Hmmm sounds like the possible range for the next No. TX shoot. If you allow rapid fire/Class 3 and maybe a place to BBQ, we should start looking into getting together around late Aug to Mid Sept. What you say folks? We can have a lil pot luck style BBQ. I started with the SoCal folks and it has become a qrtrly thing for them. We can even include a pistol shoot comp of some kind.

Sorry for the delay I had to go out of town.

Yes FMJ is ok as long as the bullet does not contain any steel ie. no tracers,AP or steel jackets.

Rapid fire is ok as long as it is kept within reason and on target.

There is only two lanes that are 25 yds long so really only good for test firing and short range zeroing.

Sorry for the confusion.

There are only two lanes for centerfire rifle, and they are only 25 yds long. we are an indoor range and hence space is kind of limited. We can do computer ballistics out to 1000 yds if you know the specs on your ammo(velocity, bullet weight, ballistic coefficient)
