Somewhere I think I've still got a picture of a Firebird, but it's from the rearview of my old Mustang...[:P]

Very nice looking ride, Striker. You know, when the 3rd generation bodies came out, I thought they were the ugliest thing on the road. Since then, I've had 3 of 'em, and I want another one.

I loved those cars when the came out, the only thing that turned me away from them was the fact the 350 came only with a Auto.

I was on the hunt for the 240 HP 305 5speed but they only made a handful.

My friend ended up owning one, an 88, he bought it with 75K on it, I will be the first to admit these cars didn't hold up very well.
Buy 100K he had alot of problems.

Those L88 engines were friggen torque monsters!
So much low end power, unfortunately high end power is Nil. The biggest issue with these engines was the heat they generated, the corvette were just as bad.
They fixed this issue (in the next gen camero's)by cooling the heads first, then the block. (DUH)

Its cool to see someone is still into these cars.
Are parts a bitch now its over 10 years old?

VERY nice.

Unless this is something new, Flowmaster doesn't do anything in stainless. Decent performance, but certainly not a "lifetime investment"...

IROC= Italian Retard Out Cruising, just kidding! The last Firebird I ran on the street lost by a good 20 car lengths, that was on the motor! I SMOKED a 305 5 speed IROC with my 91 SHO, pretty close up to around 60mph, after that pulled away from the IROC like he was standing still! I miss my SHO but my 79 Capri makes up for for my need for speed, 10.69 ETs and street legal, yeah baby! There is NO substitute for cubic inches.

I believe its safe to say that "striker" is a camaro lover.  The late 80's and early 90's IROCs are my favorite camaros.....

However, Mustangs are my "fetish".

If i knew how to post pics on here, i would post it.

302HO, Edlebrock heads, GT40 intake, Paxton Supercharged, 30lb/hr injectors, C&L 73 mass air meter, ta da - ta da - ta da......

I just bought a 1996 Z28 from the president of our company with only 6,000 miles on it.  I didn't need it but I couldn't pass on that deal.  No mods yet.

I sold a 99 Formula when I got married and started a family last summer.  It had:
SuperYank 3500 torque converter
MTI air lid
BMR control lower contol arms, relocation brackets, panhard rod, stb
Granetelli lowering springs
Subframe connectors
Y2K corvette wheels, 17's front, 18's back
McCord electric plate for the Borla
It was an auto
316 RWHP, 328 TQ

I miss that car.
