"Mind your p's and q"s" came from printers when type was set by hand. Lowercase p's and q's were easily mixed up, so the printer's told their typesetters to mind your p's and q's.

Naww, the German word for "to fuck" is "ficken". Careful, friends of Captain Scheissekopf: "ficken" means just that in German, it's not being used as universal filler and amplifier. Occasionally it's used in a way similar to "he screwed me" (as in "he presbyterianated me, the cheap bastard")
