I still fail in the end because I don't know how to title a hotlink (advanced editor) so I don't get that annoyingly long address.

Reading the add, it appears to have been used in an upcoming movie and designed for Hollywood. One of the questions someone asked was" is it really bulletproof?"

ETA. Dammit, I wasted post 556 on a fake MRAP

If you have the cash, buy a Marauder.

No. It's a concept car/MRAP. It's not armored.

That is an M-923 5 ton cargo truck with a fake body kit. Looks kinda neat but I seriously doubt it has any effective armor.

Shit welds on the troop compartment. They didn't even bother to smooth them down before paint, look at the seam by the row of windows. Its not even that good of a replica, did they not look at pictures when they were fabbing it up? Sorry fellas, cool idea but horrible execution.

Not to mention that the Casspir is a two axle vehicle.

Nope, not even  close.

She was built on a Military M35A2 6X6 Cargo Truck, but other than the drive train, which was left original because of its capability and reliability (Motor, Transmission, Transfer Case, Axles, etc.), it is all designed and custom built in house. Other than the drive train and suspension, not much else was used from the M35A2.

The M35A2 that we used was built in 1970 and received a complete overhaul in 1982 (new engine, transmission, transfer case, etc.) as you can see from the below pictures. It was sold by the military in April of 1999 and we did a complete rebuild on the motor this year.

Sounds like it was made for a movie.

We custom built it for a project that I unfortunately can't disclose for another year since it hasn't gone public yet, but we own the truck and now that it has served it's purpose it can be legally sold to the public.
