...and no, it's nothing exciting [:)]

I found this site back in March 2001 while looking for information on buying an AR15.  My cousin got one at a fun show (Colt HBAR I think) and I got the bug after that.  I was just going to purchase a complete rifle, but did a little research about putting one together from a stripped lower.  This site turned up in a search, and I found all the information I needed.  Put together a RRA Standard A2 20" and love the hell out of it.

Over time, I went ahead and hung out here, posting here and there, getting in on some of the discussions, asking questions, answering some, etc.  I've found it to be a very enjoyable place, and read and post here constantly.  The people here, for the most part are knowledgeable, and willing to help and answer any questions they can.  

I haven't made any of the shoots or conventions (dammit), haven't met anyone from the boards, or made what I call "friends" with anyone.  I hope to change all that by making it to future get-togethers.  I want to go to ETH's ranch shoot, but I think I have plans that weekend.  We'll just have to see.

I would like to close this post with a big thank you to everyone here.  Y'all have answered questions, listened to rantings, and posted some pretty funny sh!t that has made me laugh.  Happy shooting!
