Check out my post in the tech forum regarding the virus.
The virus is attempting to send itself from ar15.com user addresses to ICQ addresses in the system. It's really annoying. If I leave ICQ running overnight, I'll get 4 or 5 of these messages. One even said it came from me! I hope this problem can be fixed soon. |

Well, if this is a result of the Klez virus, than this bastard is more of a bastard than I thought.
It's bad enough that it mutates headings and attachments. It also forges message headers. I gotta give the programmer credit with that one. But ICQ message spam as well? I think that ranks it as [i]uber[/i]bastard in my book... the_reject |

You notice the ICQ said something about "unknown mime type detected"?
That means it's trying to send itself out... |

I got a message from [email protected] via ICQ just about 5 minutes ago... Nope, I don't even have ICQ installed on my PC, at least to my knowledge and according to the Control Panel. I'm getting blitzed with viruses, as well. I just delete everything I didn't recognize and run my anti-virus program once a day. Eric The(Innocent)Hun[>]:)] |
