about anything old is collectable, and those appear to be damn near new. which I suspect is rare from a era where clothes were well... clothes and not status symbols

I could put my '97 Isuzu Hombre on ebay motors for $100,000 but that doesn't mean anyone is going to buy it.

I've heard that the Japanese will spend crazy money for stuff like that. They also buy used women's panties from vending machines too..
