The clip of the big Ivan shooting it while marching forward has been posted a few times. It seems that there is a bare bones 55 lb infantry version (most likely the one he used), which is a good bit less weight than the 84 lb of the M2 Browning HMG. |

Cool gun.... but WW I technology sights???? Come on......
I have a Mauser made in 1888 that has the same design Open Sights. |

I've said it, I think the USA should adopt the KORD. It's a "light weight" (light enough to be carried by 1 guy) Heavy Machine gun that is very durable and reliable. Something we haven't been able to come up with. The M2 was great in it's day, but we can do much better.

Im not sure about this one, but I know from my own experience that with open sights on Ma Deuce, a two foot target at 800 yards is a piece of cake. Without tracers. |
