The cyclic rate of fire is very nice.  Put me down for two, please!

The clip of the big Ivan shooting it while marching forward has been posted a few times.

It seems that there is a bare bones 55 lb infantry version (most likely the one he used), which is a good bit less weight than the 84 lb of the M2 Browning HMG.

It's only been around since 1998, so it's a heck of a lot newer than the M2, that's for sure.

Is the primary means of sighting with tracers?

I've said it, I think the USA should adopt the KORD. It's a "light weight" (light enough to be carried by 1 guy) Heavy Machine gun that is very durable and reliable. Something we haven't been able to come up with. The M2 was great in it's day, but we can do much better.

Man I love Russian weapons. They're big, clunky, mean and ugly.

I firmly believe the Russians were the inspiration for Klingons.

That music was straight gangster.

Then again, half those dudes weren't wearing ear pro, so it isn't like they're going to hear it anyways.

We have something way better than that Ruskie piece of shit..

The XM312 , modern, accurate, lightweight. It's modular and can also shoot 25mm grenades.

No we don't. That whole thing has basically been shitcanned. IIRC, the action had a habit of breaking every 500 rounds or so.

THe XM806 which is a spin off of the XM312/307 is supposed to be deployed in 2013

Im not sure about this one, but I know from my own experience that with open sights on Ma Deuce, a two foot target at 800 yards is a piece of cake.  Without tracers.
